I wrote this song back in 2021 to honour the Uluru Statement from the Heart.
Created in collaboration with Darug artist Stacy Etal, the song serves as a bridge, inviting everyone to engage in a meaningful dialogue about First Nations justice.
The song is a connection to the Statement and a call to action. It urges Australians to listen & learn from the Uluru Statement, and to consider it's request for Voice, Treaty and Truth telling.
Singing is such a great way to win hearts & minds and to bond a community - when we sing about something we believe in, it can be especially powerful. The “Voice!” video features over 700 singers, and has been performed all over Australia, including outside Parliament House in Canberra and inside the NSW Parliament House! Enjoy!
Stacy Etal for her incredible support and willingness to translate & sing in language on this project. It's an honour to work with you Stace - thankyou.
